Cyclone Ditwah and Operation Sagar Bandhu

A severe cyclonic storm, named Ditwah, has caused extensive damage and loss of life in neighboring Sri Lanka. In response to the crisis, India has launched 'Operation Sagar Bandhu' to provide immediate humanitarian assistance. The first consignments of relief materials were transported by the Indian Navy's aircraft carrier INS Vikrant and the frontline ship INS Udaigiri. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has conveyed to Sri Lanka that India stands ready to provide further aid to deal with the devastating impact of the cyclone, which has reportedly claimed at least 80 lives and caused widespread destruction to infrastructure. The storm has also prompted a red alert for coastal districts in Tamil Nadu as it moves closer to India's east coast.

Red Fort Blast Investigation Intensifies

Investigations into the blast that occurred outside the Red Fort in Delhi nearly three weeks ago have gained significant momentum. Law enforcement agencies are now intensely focused on Al Falah University in Faridabad, where three of the accused were employed. In an effort to piece together the movements and contacts of the suspected bomber, Umar Nabi, investigators have questioned 48 staff members of the university, including around 30 doctors. This development suggests a crucial phase in the ongoing national security probe as authorities work to uncover the full extent of the conspiracy behind the attack.

Airbus A320 Software Glitch Causes Widespread Disruptions
