NVIDIA Goes All-In on Indian Deep Tech!

LG's 'Make in India' Dream Gets Bigger
The 'Make in India' initiative is getting another shot in the arm, this time from the Korean electronics behemoth, LG. According to recent reports, LG Electronics is seriously considering moving some of its production of factory equipment to India. We're not just talking about assembling TVs and fridges here; we're talking about making the high-tech machinery that is used to set up automated factories for electronics. Smartphone Overload: November is Packed with Launches!
If you were planning to buy a new phone, hold your horses because this month is going to be absolutely jam-packed with new launches! Seriously, almost every major brand is lining up to release their latest and greatest. Let's break it down:
- OnePlus 15: The 'flagship killer' is back! OnePlus has officially confirmed that the OnePlus 15 will launch in India on November 13. The big deal here is that it will be one of the first phones in India to be powered by the beastly new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Expect insane performance, a top-tier camera setup, and that classic OxygenOS experience, now based on Android 16.
- iQOO 15: The gaming enthusiasts have a reason to cheer! iQOO is launching its flagship, the iQOO 15, on November 26 in India. It's also confirmed to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and will feature a dedicated Q3 chip to boost gaming performance. They are also promising a stunning Samsung 2K display with a 144Hz refresh rate, which should make your games look buttery smooth.
- Realme GT 8 Pro & Realme UI 7.0: Realme is not one to be left behind. The Realme GT 8 Pro is expected to launch around November 20. But the bigger news from today is the unveiling of their new operating system, Realme UI 7.0, based on Android 16. - Lava Agni 4: Our very own desi brand, Lava, is making a comeback in the premium segment with the Agni 4, launching on November 20. Lava is promising a clean, bloatware-free Android experience and an interesting 'Free Home Replacement' service. It's confirmed to have a metal frame and a curved AMOLED display, which sounds very premium indeed!

Govt's ₹1 Lakh Crore R&D Fund & Startup Buzz
The government is making serious moves to boost innovation. At the Emerging Science, Technology and Innovation Conclave (ESTIC) 2025 that kicked off this week in New Delhi, the Prime Minister launched the ₹1 lakh crore Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) Scheme Fund. The main goal of this massive fund is to encourage the private sector to lead the way in R&D, helping India become self-reliant in critical and emerging technologies like AI, semiconductors, and green energy.
On the startup front, the action continues. Today, Nagpur-based modular furniture maker Spacewood announced that it has raised a massive Rs 300 crore in funding from A91 Partners. This is a great sign for the 'Make in India' and manufacturing tech space. In other news, D2C baby care brand BabyOrgano also secured INR 20 Cr to expand its product line. It's fantastic to see Indian startups, big and small, continuing to attract investment and grow.
